My painting, Blue Abstract, was created in 2004. As the title implies, this abstract painting was painted solely in blue, a colour which to me is an expression of spirituality, wisdom, quiet contemplation and tranquility. Blue has always been one of my favourite colours in art, and though only a few of my paintings are painted in only blue tones, tints and shades, it’s often incorporated into my design one way or another.
The contrast between light and shadow is used to create space and depth where shapes and forms sculpts the painting into an abstract composition of calm movement and serenity.
A painting this size can take up to two weeks to create as the image is build up slowly with texture and thin layers of paint. "Blue Abstract" is painted on 35mm deep box canvas and do not require any additional framing.

Acrylic Paintings
Paintings created with acrylics have a fantastic brightness which make colours appear more vivid, resulting in a remarkable three-dimensional effect. These original paintings do not require any additional framing and the canvas is about 38mm deep.
